In “Powered Up Practice,” Christine introduces the 8 Studio Habits of Mind—practical tools to deepen creativity, strengthen decision-making, and enhance artistic growth. Attendees will explore how artists think, create, and refine their work with intention. A lifelong fiber artist and educator, Christine brings extensive experience across disciplines and arts education. This free, public event welcomes all skill levels. Members are encouraged to participate in Artist of the Month, with awards for first and second place.

Guest speaker, David Chalker, shared a wealth of information to help artists turn their art hobby into a business. From understanding business entity types and the pros and cons of each, to collecting sales tax, to various avenues to sell artwork – we learned a lot and shared our own personal experiences.
