Join us for an informal and inspiring “chat” session in the North Corridor at the Lewisville Grand Theater.

Visual Art League of Lewisville members will be speaking about their art in the Portraits exhibition. Learn about the meaning, inspiration and materials of their artwork. This is also an opportunity for members and guests to ask questions and make a genuine connection with artists and the community. 

Who should attend?

All Visual Art League of Lewisville members and the public. The event is free! 

Non-members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the benefits of joining the Visual Art League of Lewisville. 

PLUS, there will be awards! 

Lasting Impressions Award: $50

Inspiration Award: $50

The art awards will be held in conjunction with Conversations with Artists. Those in attendance will vote for the winning entries after the Conversations with Artists has concluded. All submissions in the exhibit have an opportunity to win an award. (Artists do not have to speak to be eligible to receive an award).

VAL members please sign up to speak on ONE of your submissions. This is a great opportunity to showcase your artwork, develop your speaking skills and connect with other members in a friendly setting.  

Each artist is limited to a couple minutes to share details about their artwork. 

All artists who wish to speak must sign up in advance. Only a limited number of slots available.
