VAL Essentials

  1. Enter Member exhibits (See drop off dates and the schedule to sit).
  2. Volunteer monthly as docent at the MCL Grand Theater.
  3. Check your inbox regularly for important VAL announcements.
  4. Attend monthly meetings (Held the 2st Tuesday of each month at 7pm).
  5. Bring artwork to meetings for the mini-competition, “Asel Awards”.
  6. Contact Brandi admin at or Elaine at for your user name and set up your own password to log onto the VAL website.
  7. Consider teaching workshops or classes.
  8. Collaborate with other member artists and explore new mediums.
  9. Support VAL fund raising and music events.
  10. Display your artwork in the heart of Old Town – participate in City events such as Western Days, Art Festival, and Holiday at the Hall. 
  11. Donate 10% of proceeds from artwork sold at VAL events and exhibits.
  12. Serve on Committees and the Board.
  13. Look for ways to volunteer to help within VAL as needed.
  14. Support Acoustic Fridays at the Art Gallery.
